Collection Arte en Casa from Artex promotes the works of Martha Petrona Jimenez Perez

Camagüey- A work of the renowned Cuban artist Martha Petrona Jimenez Perez integrates collection Arte en Casa, developed by the Commercial Lauros, a division of the company Artex S.A. dedicated to the distribution and marketing of handicraft products that show the Cuban culture through the art.

Jimenez Perez has specialized in ceramic terracotta sculptures. She graduated as Bachelor of Fine Arts in 1991. She also made a specialty in Creation of Fine Arts for Children. She completed studies at the National School of Art Instructors in 1965. She also graduated in Painting, Sculpture, Ceramics and Printmaking.

Moreover, the purpose of Arte en Casa is to bring art into everyday life, as a proposal of this original line of utilitarian and decorative items, whose particularity is the application of art works in each one of their products.

This collection features the participation of more than 100 artists from the visual arts in Cuba, and used works from the collections of Cuban and universal art of the National Museum of Fine Arts. Arte en Casa offers a perfect combination between the useful and the beautiful, it is an exquisite way to appreciate art at home.
